     King William II 'Rufus' (of England) was born circa 1056 in Normandy, France.1 He was the son of King William I 'the Conqueror' (of England) and Matilda (of Flanders).2 King William II 'Rufus' (of England) died on 1 August 1100 in New Forest, Hampshire, England.1 He was buried on 2 August 1100 in Cathedrlstswiten, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1
     King William II 'Rufus' (of England) became King of England in 1087 replacing King William I 'the Conqueror' (of England).3 King William II 'Rufus' (of England) was replaced as King of England by King Henry I "Beauclerc" (of England) in 1100.2
