     Philippa (of Hainault) was born on 24 June 1311 in Hainault, Belgium.2 She was the daughter of Count William III d'Avesnes and Jeanne de Valois.1,2 Philippa (of Hainault) is also recorded born circa 1314 of Le Quesnoy, Nord, France.3 She married King Edward III (of England), son of King Edward II (of England) and Princess Isabelle (of France), on 24 January 1328 in Yorkshire, England.2,1 Philippa (of Hainault) died on 15 August 1369 at Windsor Castle, Berkshire, England, at age 58.2 She and King Edward III (of England) were buried at Westminster Abbey, London, England.2
